Together, we're saving Triad animals

About the initiative
Across the Piedmont Triad, rescues of every shape and size are hard at work, caring for dogs and cats, yes, but also for birds, horses, pigs, donkeys, goats, rabbits, reptiles, and so many others who rarely make the spotlight.
Saving Triad Animals is a community-driven directory and awareness campaign that connects you directly to the organizations saving lives right here at home. From established shelters to small, volunteer-run sanctuaries, this is a place where compassion meets action, and where every creature counts.
Partner Spotlight
Red Feather Equine Sanctuary and Fairytale Farm have worked side by side for years — rescuing, rehabilitating, and reimagining what compassion looks like across species. From horses and donkeys to goats, pigs, and even the occasional duck or dog, our shared mission has always been simple: to help the ones who need it most.
Together, we created the Save Triad Animals initiative to shine a light on the incredible variety of local rescues working quietly across our region. By connecting our community to these organizations, we hope to make it easier for people to discover, support, and celebrate the lifesaving work happening every day here in the Piedmont Triad.
